She is survived by: her brother Orlando Earl Bende; her nieces, Karen Humphreys (Paul), Susan Winkles (Scott), Linda Abbott (Bryan), Doris Wood (Richard), Joan Salonish (Ed) and Elaine May; and her caregivers, Sandra and Asu.
