Ellen Rubin Cades Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, at the age of 78, Ellen Rubin Cades of Potomac, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ellen Rubin leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Michelle Cades (Andy Loggia) and Deborah Cades (Dash Rodman); her grandchildren, Ari Loggia, Noah Loggia, Aviva Loggia, Delia Rodman and Sadie Rodman; her sister Ruth Duffine (Geoff); and her husband Steve. She was also cherished by friends who were like extended family.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Judean Memorial Gardens (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832).
