It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Martin McCormick of Potomac, Maryland, born in Needham, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though George Martin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George Martin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (9200 Kentsdale Dr, Rockville, MD 20854).
