Ghassan Elias Jweied Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ghassan Elias Jweied (Potomac, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Jweied and Martha Jweied; his brothers, Naeem, Kamal and Jamal; and his nephews, Issam and Nidal.
He is survived by: his wife Zakieh Khouri Jweied; his daughter Reema Guegel; his son-in-law Roland Guegel; his grandson Nicholas; his son Eias Jweied; his daughter-in-law Agata Aniola Jweied; his daughters, Serene and Maha; and his siblings, Quftan and Hind Rabadi. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to Ss. Peter & Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church either by mailing a check or through the Church's secure online donation portal.
