He was predeceased by: his father Jose Ignacio. He is survived by: his wife Alicia L. Lizarazo; his daughter Jasmin Lizarazo (Shawn); and his siblings, Ruth Lizarazo of Florida and Hernán Lizarazo of Bogotá.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions also be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
