With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Duran (Potomac, Maryland), who passed away on September 22, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Welty and Dorothy Welty; her husband Dr. Leovino Duran; her children, Arthur, Matthew, Jonathan and Amy; her grandchildren, Jonah, Isaac, Naomi, Abby, Grace, Tyler, Julia, Isabel, Aiden, Logan, Ian, Tony, David, Natalie and Sara; and her sisters, Holly and Ida.
