She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard George May and Eleanor Loretta Cole May; her daughter Lynne D. Hummers; and her brother Gareth C. May. She is survived by: her husband Edward W. Hummers, Jr.; her children, Richard G. Hummers (Tonya), Edward W. IV "Buddy" Hummers (Nancy) and Karen H. Greenberg (Lawrence); her grandchildren, Kimberly Hummers (Jamie), Charles Hummers (Juliet), Kaitlyn Hummers, Abigail Greenberg, Amanda Greenberg and Ava Greenberg; her great grandchild Logan R. Hummers; and her sister Melinda A. Blue.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Marcia's name be made to a children's charity of their choice.
