Though Nicholas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nicholas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie FitzGerald Celenza; his son Michael Nicholas Celenza (Colleen); his grandchildren, Wally, Oliver and Wells; his parents, Patricia Celenza and Gennaro Celenza; and his siblings, Gina Kreuter (Hank) and Ed Celenza (Nancy). He is also survived by 7 Brothers in law, 7 Sisters in law, 17 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (9200 Kentsdale Dr, Potomac, MD 20854). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
