He was predeceased by: his parents, Sailendra Kumar Sen (Indira Sen) and Subir; and his sister Nandita. He is survived by: his wife Rita Sen; his children, Subhro Sen (Sonali) and Rini Barman (Arun); his sister Arpita; his niece Debarati; his grandchildren, Sanjan, Sareena, Nikhil and Asha; Abhirup. He is also survived by loving extended family and countless friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Pumphrey Funeral Home (7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814).
