She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cody and Bernice Lum Jay; her stepson Michael; her husband Fred Gill; and her sister Barbara Ching.
She is survived by: her sister Bobbie; her stepson David; her caregivers, Felicia Biney and Ekua Hagan; her sister Carol (Clyde); and her daughter Diana Samantha Artiga. She is also survived by spouses, and her six grandchildren.
