He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Jackson and Myrtle Jackson; and his brothers, Walter Groce, Elmer Jackson, Jr. (Mickey), Larry Jackson and Arthur Lee Jackson (Booty).
He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Thomas; his sons, Allen Murray (White Plains, MD), Anthony Murray of Lancaster, PA and Damian Jackson (Easton, MD); and his sisters, Rosalee Lofland Denton, MD (Sam), Irene Jackson and Faye Greene (Bob) of Federalsburg, MD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
