He is survived by: his wife Carol Harmon Butts; his sister Mary Sachs of St. Michaels; his children, Krista, Robert "Kip" and Jason; his grandchildren, Bethany, Maegan and BJ; and his sister-in-law Carolynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
