He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Melville Burget and Florrie Lee Johnson Burget. He is survived by: his wife Laura L. Burget of Preston; his son Sean Burget (Rebecca) of Sykesville, MD; and his grandson Ryan Burget. He is also survived by cousins and nephews.
