He was predeceased by: his father Herbert L. Jones; his brother Carlton W. Jones Sr.; his brother-in-law Cleveland Gloster, Jr.; his grandparents, Nettie H. Jones-Cartwright, Albert Cartwright, Annie R. Green-Jones and Samuel E. Jones; his godson Shannon Gloster; and his aunts and uncles, Rosa McKee, Martha Williams, Norma Singleton, Annette Williams, Wilbert, Leroy, John Cartwright, Evelyn, Virginia (Lottie Friend), Mary Webb (Edna Nichols), Silas, Samuel and James Jones.
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Jones; his cousins, James Williams Jr. (Pete) and James Williams III (Keyboard); his sisters, Vanessa Duncan (Robert), Nettie Gloster, Vernetta Conaway (Reginald Sr.) and Teresa Jones (Murray); his aunts, Carrie Cartwright (Price) and Mary Miles (Lizzie); his uncle Dr. Harry M. Cartwright Sr.; his godchildren, LaToya Conaway and Reginald Conaway Jr.; and his sister-in-law Bernet Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
