She was predeceased by: her mother Gertrude Green; her husband Raymond Friend; her father Perry Forman, Sr.; her siblings, Perry Forman, Jr. and Geraldine Griffin; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Jackson and Frances Friend.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia A. Briggs of Seaford Del, Mable A. Butler (Jeffrey, Sr.) of Federalsburg, Connie S. Roach of Preston, Robert L. Friend (Lita) of Preston and Shannon M. Friend of Preston; her siblings, James Hoskins of Harmony and Katherine Forman of Philadelphia, PA; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Weeks of Federalsburg Md and Charles Griffin of Hurlock; her grandchildren, Cawaina Friend, Reginald Friend Sr. (Rena), Roger Friend, Terrell Bulter, Jeffrey Bulter Jr., Samatha Briggs (Randy), Nicole Demby (Eric), Lamar Friend, Rosheca Harris (Brett), Shannon Wilson, Maurice Sampson, Tavon Young (Jaleesa) and Taymar Alexander; and her caregiver Rhonda Cain. She is also survived by 20 Great grandchildren; 5 Great-Great Grandchild a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the International House of Worship, Inc. (26321 Williamsburg Rd, Federalsburg, MD 21632). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
