She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie H. Jones-Cartwright and Albert Cartwright (Herbert Jones); her sons, Carlton Jones Sr. and Keith Jones; her grandson Shan-Non Gloster; her great grandchild Equanna Duncan; her siblings, Carrie Price, Rosa McKee, Martha Williams, Norma Singleton, Annette Williams, Wilbert, Leroy, James, John Cartwright and Harry Cartwright, Sr.; and her son-in-law Cleveland Gloster, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Duncan (Robert), Nettie Gloster, Vernetta Conaway (Reginald Sr.) and Teresa Jones (Murray); her sister Mary Miles (Lizzie); and her daughter-in-law Bernet Jones. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary U. M. Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
