He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanley Toms and Hildred Toms (Sewell); and his brothers, Stanley Toms, Guy Toms and Gary "Tick" Toms.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Baray and Laurie Meekins (Clint); his stepdaughter Penny Fontana (Ed); his siblings, Norval Toms (Roberta) and Joan Bozman; his sister-in-law Rae Toms; and his close friend Lisa Carson. He is also survived by his four granddaughters; his three great-granddaughters; his one great-grandson; his nephews.
