He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Brooks and Lillian Offer (Kent); his siblings, Isaac, Leonard, Robert Jr., Enoch, Mural, Alice and Louise Brooks-Russell; and his children, Patricia Ann Taylor and Dale Martin Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur Brooks, Jr., Clinton Antonio Brooks, Darryl Timothy Brooks, Leesa Monique Brooks, Kelby Cornelius Brooks, LaDrika Ann Williams, Jessica Ann Brooks, Michelle Lynn Taylor and Allen Andrew Brooks; and his siblings, Marine Thomas, Irene Williams and Johnny Brooks. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
