He was predeceased by: his parents, George Raymond Tavenner, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Snyder; his siblings, Nancy, Janet and Jesse; and his brothers-in-law, Delbert and Elmer Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Corrine Tavenner (Harris); his children, Raymond Tavenner (Jammie) of Westminster, Sharon Strand (David) of St. Leonard and Karen O'Connor (Dennis) of Port Republic; his grandchildren, David (Adriana), Jacob, Jessica, Jenna, Austin, Jocelynn and Lucas; his great grandchild Sofia; his brother Skip Prather (Carol); his sister-in-law Susan Harris; and his close friends, John Mancuso and Susan Burch (family: Elaine, Mike).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Church (3800 Old Town Rd, Huntingtown, MD 20639). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
