She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Stallings and Louise Stallings; and her siblings, Robert Hughes (Edna) and Mary Lucy Chaney (Frederick). She is survived by: her children, Brenda Gibson (Ricky), Rick Rickett (Robin), Kay Cantin (Robert), Thomas Rickett (Debbie) and Laurie Shifflett (Eddie). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Port Republic (4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Smithville United Methodist Church Cemetery (3005 Ferry Landing Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754).
