He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jennings; his parents, Billy Stamp and Florence Stamp; and his brothers, Gene and Eddie Stamp.
He is survived by: his son James Stamp Jr.; and his sisters, Helen Harrington (Sissy) and Helen Ann (Jeff Carper).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home (4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676). A burial was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens (3270 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676).
