He is survived by: his wife Marian Virginia Kernan; his daughters, Kathleen Kernan Dougan (Thomas) of Gambrills, MD and Jacqueline Suzanne Carpenter (Thomas) of Prince Frederick, MD.; his granddaughter Kimberly Suzanne Rison (Raymond) of Waldorf, MD; and his great grandchild Madison Quinn Rison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
