She is survived by: her children, Russell Simmons, Jr., Anne Weekly, Marie Hannabass and Christopher Simmons; and her siblings, Audrey Gardiner, Bonnie Scott, Sue Cooke, Elizabeth Laschalt, Kathleen Tennison and Robert Loumiller. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
