She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Edward Dennis, Sr. and Rose Isabella Fauntleroy Dennis; her husband Andrew Monroe Ballard; and her siblings, Ed Louis, Andrew and Mildred Dennis Rose Deaton.

She is survived by : her daughter Pamela M. Ballard; her grandchildren, Craig O. Ballard and Aleta R. Ballard; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Noelle, Kai and Shai. She is also survived by three great-nieces; one great-great niece and nephew and other relatives and friends.

The family requests a donation to Metropolitan United Methodist Church or Shore Up in place of flowers.
