He is survived by: his wife Wanda Pitts; his children, Solomon Pitts, Jr. (Eisha), Jonathan "Jono" Pitts, Janet Brown (Wayne), DeAndra Ballard (Stephanie), Tina Ballard (Mike) and Sherlonda Ballard; and his brother Bennie Pitts. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
