He was predeceased by: his son Albert B Hampton, Jr. (Betty Schuyler Hampton); his siblings, Richard LaBrie (Dickie), Elwood LaBrie, Kenley Hampton (Sonny), William A Hampton (BoBo), Beatrice E Collier Dust and Marilyn Grimes Holmes; his parents, Mary Evelyn Blockston Hampton and Kenley Tilghman Hampton; and his granddaughter Brittany N. Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Frederick; his children, Shane Hampton (Wanda) of Church Hill, Wade Hampton (Catina) of Harrington, Janet Brittingham (Jimmy Balderson) of Greensboro and Eddie Grimes (Patsy) of Stevensville; his sister Mary Hampton; and his grandchildren, Teddy Hampton, Kenley Hampton (Kate), Maria Hampton, Holden Hampton, Bobby Ford and Tommy Ford. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
