With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine Carpenter of Queen Anne, Maryland, born in Easton, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Geraldine left this world on April 25, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Al Hart and Myrtle Pinkney; her husband John H. Carpenter; and her siblings, Rita Pinkney, Zeke Pinkney and Winfield Pinkney.
She is survived by : her daughter Annette Demby Pinkney of Denton, MD; her grandsons, Reginald Carpenter (Shonte) of Queen Anne, Jonathan S. Carpenter (Latosha) of Clinton, MD and John H. Carpenter, Jr. (Tamikka) of Wendell, NC; and her siblings, Murcey Dean Tyler, Robert Pinkney and Mitchell Pinkney. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen A. M. E. Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
