He is survived by: his friend Katherine "Kathy" Barks; his children, Keith Tapp and Danielle Tapp-Hynson (Dameon); his sister Bernice Brooks; his grandchildren, Keith White, Destiny Hynson, Devon Hynson and Daniel Hynson; his great grandchildren, Kylee and Kross; and his nieces, Letha Brooks, Muril Brooks, Sherry Evans, Tammy Gholston (Marvin) and Trina Tyson. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
Those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause he held close to his heart.
