He was predeceased by: his father Russell James "Russ" VanMeter; his grandmothers, Helen Cavey and Deloras VanMeter Ketterman; his uncle Larry VanMeter; and his nephew Kody.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra VanMeter (Cavey); his daughters, Kiana, Kaylee and Kaitlin Daniels; his siblings, Amy May (J. D.) and Brian VanMeter (Jenny); his siblings' children, Kara Hotchkiss, Tyler Hotchkiss (Brittany), Brandi Snyder, Hunter, Logan and Bronson VanMeter; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hoyt, Maycie, Jamey and Josie; Sage and Kiwi.
