He is survived by: his fiancée Gloria Crumbie of Reisterstown; his children, Charles Daniel Callahan and Rose Mary Callahan of Reisterstown; his grandson Robert John of Virginia; his sister Colleen Saxon of Caritas House; his nephew Eddie Saxon; his cousins, Robert Liberatore of Washington, DC and Mary Ann Liberatore; and his siblings-in-law, David Crumbie (Amy Crumbie) of Cockeysville, MD and Susan Clark (Richard Clark) of Spring Grove, PA. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
