It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Carrie Downey of Reisterstown, Maryland, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John and Luella; her former life partner John Downey; her son Steven John Downey; and her siblings, John Thompson, Bill Thompson and Alice Henry.

She is survived by : her children, Joan Clark, Deanna Lowensen (Christopher, Sr.) and Dana Harrison (Melvin R., Jr.); and her brother Ronald Thompson (Faye). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home - Finksburg (2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD 21048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
