She was predeceased by: her parents, David Murphy and Rosa Mullen; and her sister Jasca Allen. She is survived by: her children, Robin Wetzel Rosenthal (Scott) of Naples, FL and Richard W. Wetzel of Manchester, MD; and her grandchildren, Cole, Blake, Ashley and Ryan (Winfield M. Wetzel, Jr.). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
