It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Garrett of Riderwood, Maryland, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Claire may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nathaniel U. Garrett (Ted); and her friend Richard M. Warfield. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen U. (Virginia), Robert M. (Pauline) and Douglas A. Garrett (Valerie).
