She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Ira Townsley and June Thompson Townsley; her husband William Dorr; and her sister Mary Kroh. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Gamper, Jeni Leach (Vic), Katie Breeding (Jacob), Ira Redman (Evelyn) and Chris Dorr (Jennifer); her stepdaughter Betty Wright (Billy); her niece Nancy Dowell; and her nephews, Ed Kroh and Tom Kroh. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home (12 S 2nd St, Denton, MD 21629). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory may be made to a local food pantry of your choice.
