We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2024, at the age of 83, Ernest Thomas (Rising Sun, Maryland), born in Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John L. Thomas, Sr. and Beatrice N. Thomas (Nieweg); and his brother John L. Thomas Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Thomas; his children, Chuck Thomas (Lona), Lisa O'Dwyer (Richard), Pam Morris (Matt) and Jennifer Thomas; his grandchildren, Jessica Bolt-Patton, Caleb Kile, Chris Patton, Carrianna Jones, Amber Thomas, Mandi Stamos, Brittany O'Dwyer, Carli Kile, Carly Hilts, Paige Patton, Matthew Morris, Thomas Morris, Graci Barnes and Jace Barnes; his great grandchildren, Jayden Greulich, Amberlee Jones, Lacey Jones, Aliva Jones, Kash Dean, Noah Trent, KC Stamos, Annabelle Bolt, Braelyn Morris, Mackenzie Stamos, Harlow Hilts, Nova Diaz, Henry Hilts and Baby Boy Patton; and his sisters, Denise Rash and Susan Johnson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Sunday, May 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Janes Church (213 N Walnut St, Wilmington, DE 19801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Lynn may be made payable to the "American Heart Association" and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
