He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Sipala and Paul Sipala; and his sister Marianna Quigley. He is survived by: his wife Liz Sipala; his children, Jennifer Sipala, Michele Sipala, Matthew Sipala and Andrew Sipala (Nicolle); his granddaughter Kathryn McDonald; and his sister Paulina Wolfe.
