With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Gail Maher of Rockville, Maryland, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward McCarthy and Virginia McCarthy; her husband Roger Maher; her pets, Murphy Brown and Tiger; her children, Heather Boedeker (Doug) of Derwood, MD and Sean Maher (Jackie) of Pequannock, NJ; her grandchildren, Alex Maher, Rory Boedeker, Jared Maher, Ryan Boedeker, Carleigh Maher and Lindsey Maher; and her sisters, Patricia Viering, Vivian Jones and Ginny McCarthy. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
