Charles Dyke Obituary
The passing of Charles Dyke (Rockville, Maryland) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Bisconti Dyke; his children, Charles M. Dyke, Sarah Born (Dyke) and Rachel Dyke; and his caregivers, Blaise Ban, Romus Gyamfi and Parfait Maah.
General Dyke was an active and devoted member of the board of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and championed the selection of the controversial but eloquent design by Maya Lin. He also served with dedication on the board of the George C. Marshall Foundation and contributed years of leadership and support to the United Services Organization (USO) and Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
