He is survived by: his wife Amy Miller Gartland; his children, Claire (Bijan Madhani), Christopher and Peter Gartland; his grandchild Kieran Gartland Madhani; his siblings, Timothy (Linda), Matthew (Cathy), Terrence (Karen), Catherine Rispoli (late Larry), Patricia Heslin (Tom) and Jennifer Gartland (Ted); and his in-laws, Pamela Gartland (late Micheal), Jacqueline Miller, Virginia Prunella, Peter Miller, Christine Tee (late James), Susan Shellhouse, Debra Miller (Derrick Brochey) and John Miller (Angela). He is also survived by godchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chris's memory at the Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and Casey House Montgomery Hospice.
