As we bid Eleanor farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eleanor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor D. Crocker and Henry Nathaniel Hardy; and her sister Irene Sears. She is survived by: her family Eleanor Alene Crocker; her sister Henrietta "Penny" Newsome; her nieces, Felycya Waller, Avonda Oliver (Elmon) and Beverly Yarborough (Alexander); her nephew Terrence Sears (Winsome); and her friend Rock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, a host of cousins; extended family; and countless friends.
