She was predeceased by: her parents, Alicia and Jose. She is survived by: her family Chillogallo; and her husband Carlos Eduardo Chiriboga. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and great grand-children.
As President of the Pan American Roundtable, she worked to preserve culture, provide scholarships and donations to underserved communities in Ecuador.
