She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney and Eva Nathanson; and her husband Roy Gootenberg. She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Susan Leibenhaut), Paul (Laura Sainz) and Amy; and her grandchildren, Eva, Jesse, Julia, David, Jonathan, Danyal and Léa. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
