He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelle Z. and James C. Schuler, Sr.; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Peter Schuler, Krista Ziegenfuss and Jennifer Dobson; his grandchildren, Megan and Sean Dobson; his siblings, James C., Jr., Louis R., Mark J., T. Andrew, Bartley C. and Anne Schuler; and the mother of his children Cynthia Eckley of Sanford, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
