It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Richard Zitzmann of Rockville, Maryland, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank August and Ethel Zitzmann; his wife Janet Evelyn Zitzmann (Smith); and his sisters, Dorothy Fleming and Ethel Thompson.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Clark Zitzmann; his daughter-in-law Alexandra; his grandchildren, William Zitzmann, Mark Zitzmann, Genevieve Zitzmann, Eric Zitzmann (Amy) and Alaina Groat (Craig Groat); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Zitzmann and Samuel Groat.
