She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Hughes Rice and Frank Carter Rice; her daughter Deborah J. Werner; her husband Wallace W. Kidwell (Wally); and her brother Leonard Rice.

She is survived by: her son Wallace W. Kidwell, Jr. (Whit); and her grandchildren, Susan Ditmore, Kidwell, III (Colin) and Cameron H. Kidwell.
