He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar and Mary Ruth Bane (Snyder); and his wife Mary Lou Bane (Malcomb). He is survived by: his children, Mary Haldas (Michael) of Germantown, MD and Harold Bane, Jr. (Patricia) of Cumberland, MD; his grandchildren, Alexandra Haldas, Brittany Collins (Steven) and Katelynn May; his great grandchildren, Kylie Collins, Abel Sines and Thomas Femi; his sister Evangeline Knippenberg; and his brother-in-law Robert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
