He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Ashton; and his brother George Ashton. He is survived by: his children, James C. Ashton, Robert B. Ashton (Wendy Julian) and Kathryn A. Quinlan (Brian); his grandchildren, Erin (Steven), Alec, Cole and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Connor, Tyler and Ryann; his nephews, Trace Ashton and Alan Ashton; and his niece Kathryn Ashton.
