She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Lee Campbell and Duncan D. Campbell; her son Christopher Hystad; and her brothers, Robert Campbell and Ralph Campbell.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Hystad (David Friday), Gregory Hystad (Marsha Palazzi) and Cynthia Hystad Hart (Ted); and her grandchildren, Michael Saponara, Julia Myers, Caroline Myers, Amanda Hart, Megan Hart, Ashley Hystad, Anna Hystad and Claire Hystad. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Montgomery Hospice, Casey House Nursing and Nursing Aides Endowment.
