He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Berry and Eva Butler Berry; and his sister Doris. He is survived by: his wife Mazel Pernell; his children, Jef Berry (Donene), Gregory Berry, Michael Berry and Bonnie Berry LaMon (Andre); and his siblings, Dorothy Safo, Elmira Sams of Cleveland, OH and T. Leon Berry (Nellie) of Laguna Hills, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
