Judith Ringgold Docca Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Ringgold Docca of Rockville, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2024 at the age of 85. She is survived by: her son Billy of Berlin, MD; her grandchildren, Carly, Luke and Jake; her sisters, Frances of Gaithersburg, MD and Susan of Philadelphia, PA; and her niece Carrie.
Her legacy has been honored in other ways, including a MCPS Educational Foundation scholarship in her name, and the Argyle Middle School media center being named for her in 2023.
